File compression (When it would otherwise fail)

Hello!, this request is submitted based on my experience posting to Bluesky and the support thread. I wanted to make an actual feature request for tracking.

When posting large images to bluesky, the upload can fail due to the size.

Miki advised via email they were considering adding optional compression, I would like that feature as well!

That said, with this implemented, can we get a warning about images being too large for a platform?

For optimal end user experience I think it would be really nice if we knew we needed to compress the image instead of posting, failing, then re-attempting posting and compressing the image.
